How to install two PHP with different versions in one Windows 2000?

I'm working as a freelance programmer. Because I have several clients and their server configuration are different, I have to install two or more PHP for testing. However, I have no idea how I can do it. Could someone help me? I'm using Windows 2000. Thanks.

Do you plan on installing Apache/IIS/whatever twice also? There's a couple different ways you can do this. One is like I said, install on different web servers. Second it to install it once as an Apache module, then install again as a CGI. Google it. A lot of info on this already out there...

I'm also trying to install 2 versions of PHP, 4 and beta 5. Is there anyway to do this both using modules? I'm using Apache2 / Win 2k. Thanks

try install apache in a diff port and install again the php

or lets just say install a phptriad and the default port is on 80 and install your apache with php in diff port.. then just access your mysql local

Can't, at the moment PHP 5 uses the same filenames as PHP 4. So, when you go to install the php.ini and php4ts.dll (which need to be in the system folder and system32) the PHP 4 files are already there. They are working on fixing that but in the mean time, is there a workaround?

Thx mates. I would like to use only one IIS 5.0 with two PHP servers, one is 4.0.6 and other is 4.3.1. Any idea?

waimichael, you kind of have the same type of problem as I do. As far as I know you can't have two PHP versions installed on the same system. This is because the php.ini is looked for in the Win dir. So, you can't have two php.ini's in the same folder there for the ini conflicts with each version. As far as I know anyway. If ANYONE knows how to work around this, please let us know. Thanks.
