Server Side Includes

Hi All

i am trying to get server side includes to work with a PHP page that calls the include. and have had zero luck so far.

so i could use some examples on how to go about it. or some detailed instuctions on what i should be doing.

i am using apache 1.3 php 4.3.2 on windows Xp.

PHP pages usually need a .php extention, while SSI pages usually are looking for a .shtml extention. Can't you just use a PHP include?

You cannot use a SSI within a .php page,
why not just do this...

<? include 'location/to/your/html/file' ?>

The results are the same.
