depends what your doing, if its alot of echoing then id do a redirect
Not much echoing at all...Just kind of a confirmation the tell-a-friend was sent...'bout it. So, in this case, echoing would be quicker? Thanks
echoing would have a more reliable completion time as you have to deal with pipe clogs when you redirect.
