Auto submit form error

Hello,

When the page loads i am trying to create it so that it auto submits a form. I have been sucessful but it keeps submitting it again and again and wont stop. How can i do it so that it only submits it once? Here is the code:

document.forms["propertySearch"].submit();
//End Submit Form

when the page submits, where does it go? does it go to a page that calls the same function (loads the same page again)...sounds like you are getting recursion...the function is just basically looping around in a circle
