error when uploading file

Hi all!

i've got a file uploader that give me a headbreak :

...

if (copy ($File, "$uploadDir/$File_name")){
rename("$uploadDir/$File_name", "$uploadDir/$promo.jpg");

...

and here's the error message i've got :

Warning: copy(/home/media/promo/prebuilt.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/admin/upload.php on line 205

the address home/admin/upload.php is where my upload script is and home/media/promo/prebuilt.jpg is what i'm trying to upload

can someone help me !

Check your permissions in /home/media/promo/, make sure PHP (apache) can write to that folder.
