Seriously - I make a page just for sell phones. Then I redirect based on the OS in the browser string.

haha, ya i knoe not to di that myself, but need the access for my saite... when you said rediret based on OS, did you mean the cell's os?

if I get an OS that I don't know is a desktop OS I redirect to my HDML site.

I.E. windows, linux, max, risc, bee, etc. I don't feel like digging out my list right now.

drawmack, there is a problem with your theory. If someone has a firewall and chooses to prevent a script from accessing OS info, they might be redirected to your HDML site. If you have a way around that, and they will be redirected to your XHTML site, what if a wireless device has a firewall (not very common, but it's emerging due to wireless security issues)? Oh well, we can always screw the firewallers! But that includes me! Damn!

merve what comes up in the http_user_agent for you, that's what I use.

What you want to learn is WAP and WML. It's similar to HTML except it's just for cell phones. Do a Google search or take a look here.
