Hi everyone, i recently got PHP5b2-dev running with Apache2 and MySQL 4.0.13, and whenever i go to http://localhost/ , it asks me to downlaod ''. if i go to http://localhost/index.php however, it works fine! i have my DirectoryIndex as
index.php index.html index.foo
. Any ideas?
did you stick an index.html in there to see what happens with that?
nope not yet......... but it wouldn't make a difference i think because the download is initiating becuase Firebird can't handle application/x-httpd-php, which means that index.php is being called, just not parsed.
that was why I asked about index.html. See if that tries to download or render. Also have you downloaded the file and taken a look at it?

whoa! just went back and tried it again and it works no problem! absolutely no config changes, no nothing! well that solves this, but thanks for the advice i'll try that if it screws up again 🙂
