hi, everybody, i am trying to make an on line quiz. mainly includes 3 parts, one is input the questions and answers, the second part is the real page of the quiz that customers will see on the web site, and take the quiz. the third part will be the result page. like after they click Submit button, it goes to this page. this page will shows the result of each question, whether you get it right or wrong.
anybody knows where i can download some program source like this? or, anyother suggestions about making this without program all the code by myself? (of course that will be really hard for me to write all the code.... i am just a beginner of php).

i need more help from you. i got the right software, but couldn't install it successfully.

i attached the install page, no matter what i entered there, it just says the same thing : "PHPTestManager: Unable to connect to the database. Check that the information you inserted are right. Make sure that the database you chose exists and you have the permission to use it. "

i wonder, do i need to make a database and then install, or just careat one when i am install? what is the name i should enter in the "database name" ?

I would create the database first, then whatever name you chose to use for the created database, put that in the database name field

how to creat the database? any idea?

do you have phpmyadmin or do you know how to get to a command prompt and then to the mysql prompt, it is pretty simple

create database database_name;

i created a database in phpmyadmin, but it still doesn't work..... saying the same message...

for Database Server, put localhost, not your domain name

you tried to set it to localhost?

maybe you should try and contact your host to see what you need to be using for your information, as in server name, username, password, db_name, etc...

thank you for your patient and help me so much...

i just called up the host company and asked help from them, they told me that mysql is working good in the server, but they don't knwo what is the reason why i cann't install it.

wa~~~~ what is the problem????? i am dying !!!!

maybe the script you found isn't the greatest and they didn't have their s**t together...
