how do i get it to not send the session id through the url? every url on the page it adds the session id to. are there some settings i can change to prevent it from doing this?

enable cookies?
The only way a server can know who you are is through cookies or the url.
im storing the session id in a cookie file. so cookies are already enabled and working. the reason im using cookies is because i dont want it following in the url all the time.., any ideas? anybody?
see if session.use_cookies is enabled
