Interacting Mysql and .htaccess....

Hi there !

I have a little ecommerce website, and when the client pays, all his datas are stored inside my Mysql database.

How is it possible for me, to interact the datas of the database to write on a particular .htaccess file?

The login would be his email address and his personal password from the database.

How can I do that, if it is possible?

of course its possible to use filefunctions to create htaccess files. But why do you need this file?

I need it to allow my clients to have a certain access to a folder or some folders.

Could you tell me how to do that?

Of course his .htaccess authorisation is easy but you need something more if it has to work for more then some users.
Use .htaccess if you want protect files (like zip's) to the public.
I you want protect pages to the public use session or cookies.
On this site are good tutorials over this functions.
