Yes, you read that subject right! I need to be able to generate images of rendered HTML pages from my server, which of course means that I need some kind of server-side rendering engine.
Ideally, there would be something like Mozilla wrapped up as a PHP plugin, but I don't think that exists. An external command-line app in the style of lynx, but that renders graphically would be great too. Is there such a thing as command line Mozilla?
My server's running OpenBSD, but I have no X-windows setup on it, which I guess may complicate matters.
Does anyone know of a solution to this?
I remember vaguely seeing a site that allowed you to see how your site renders on a huge range of browsers on many platforms - they must have had all the browsers set up and taking screen grabs, but that's overkill for me, just one "good-enough" rendering is all I need.
