preg_replace/remove all url's

Hello:

Does anyone have or know of a function that will strip out all urls? I was maybe thing of preg_replace but I couldnt find anything.

In order for a programatic solution to this problem you have to define URL

do you mean
<a href=....

do you mean
any string starting with http

or something else?

I dont want people to be able to post url's in one of my forms. I already strip out the html but i still dont want the url text to show.
