mail() function with authentication?

Hello ppl,

I'm using the function mail() in my script, is everything ok with the code but i receive this warning when i try to send emails with other domain than my email account.

"...SMTP response: 571 Remote sending only allowed with authentication..."

So, my question is, how could I send my username and password, using the email function, or other solutions please.

what kind of server you are using?

localhost, remote...?
