SSL use with IIS

I want to install SSL capabilities to my machine for a 'learning' environment.

My students have IIS installed on XP Pro. We also have the latest PHP and MySQL versions available for this type of installation.

I need to teach them about certificates... how to install them and use them. We want to be able to generate our own certificate on each machine (localhost) for this class.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I think you need a server version of windows to generate your own certificates.

IIS is the server!

localhost works fine for PHP and Perl!

I think he means server as in windows 2000 server/advanced server, etc.

XP is a workstation OS.
