what do I need to search for in the documentation to obtain the referring page? I've tried looking for it, and I don't have the slightest clue right now!

Specifically $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']
From the manual: The address of the page (if any) which referred the user agent to the current page. This is set by the user agent. Not all user agents will set this, and some provide the ability to modify HTTP_REFERER as a feature. In short, it cannot really be trusted
I just want to log this info I am not going to rely on it, just try to get a feel as for where my visitor's are finding my website at. no real big deal, and I guess any info is better than no info. This is a real big help, thanks man...
