unusual question: php -> asp

I have recently been hired by an e-company that wants me to replace the PHP code in their website with ASP code. That something that doesn't happen very often. An unusual assignment for a student like me, but a welcome change from the usual PHP related things I do.

Now I have been thinking, in the past I have used a couple of tools that converted ASP code to PHP code. Those were really usefull. But are there any tools that do the exact opposite, converting PHP to ASP? I am by no means an ASP expert, so I could really use something like that.

i dunno, why do they want asp? does that mean they are runing on a winblows server? tell em they are dim wits. I hate asp, wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.

Try search www.google.com. I have just searched using "php to asp" and it returned a number of articles.

I haven't delved into them, but there is an entry from Microsoft.

Why move away from ASP. It is normally the other way round for me.

If it were me I would ask if another option would be to rewrite the php to improve it and have it meet their needs.

Or is this not old ASP but rather .NET?
