Hi All,

In a Database Table, there is a row and this row is live and whenever any changes has to me made, the made changes has to approved by the administrator. Till the row gets approved, i have to show up the existing row without the changes. Once the changes is approved by the administartor, it can reflect the changes in Live.

Please advice me how to acheive this.

couple of ways...one possibility is to add an "approved" field to the table...and maybe a sequence--to keep things ordered--
when you display the data use a select * from whatever where some conditions and approved=true order by sequence desc limit 1--this should grab the most recent

updated approved row
when the request is made to change the row, a new row is inserted with the appropriate data with the approved field as null, or false or whatever you want...

then when the supervisor approves it, it will show up as the most recent approved--

I think that may work...
