php page in a frame

Hi,
I have a shopping cart that works fine by itself. However, when I try to display it in a frame, in response to a button click, I get the php code displayed in the frame instead of the actual page. Other html pages display fine in the the frame in response to a click on other buttons.
Is there an issue with displaying php pages in frames?

Nope--PHP and frames work just dandy together...you may be targetting the wrong frame with your button click though

Hi,
I believe I am using the right frame. The same frame is used for all other pages (html pages) and they all show up fine. Even the php page shows up in the frame, it just shows the code text and not the actual page.

Ah...totally misread your question...sorry about that...

Odds are either your interpreter is not processing that page (ie you have settings to only run .php files through the interpreter, and this is a .html file) or you might have short tags turned off...ie you need to use <?php instead of just <?

Hi,
does that mean I have to setup the server to run html pages through php intrepreter?
I am testing this locally (using IIS) and have set evrything with .php extension to go through php interpreter. Should I also make .htm and .html files do the same?
What happens if I want to put these files on my web hosting sevrer? DO they have to make same changes?

You probably want to havae your te3st box mimic the production box as closesly as possible. In this case, just make sure the file extension on the page with the php in it is php, and not htm, or html. That will at least let you know what the problem is.
