CVS server for windows

Not sure if I've asked this before, but does anyone know of either a good CVS server for windows? I've tried to install the one from www.cvshome, but I couldn't get it to run.

Alternatively, does anyone know of a good tutorial for installing CVS on windows?

you could look into source safe which is part of the .NET development environment.

I was kinda hoping for something that's free, like CVS, also because I want people who run *nix systems to be able to access it.

Never tried it myself... but maybe cygwin + cvsd/cvspserver ?
