What's the best way to code in mandrake or windows? What's the best way to use apache and mysql linux or windows? I use my ftp sometimes and i have it on my windows it's good. I just installed mandrake, i don't seem to like it, I think windows is more compitable and way better programs for programming. What do you guys think i should do? I mostly do php/mysql and c++. Some graphic design.

And, what exactly are you asking ... are you trying to start a religious war?

Use whatever makes the most sense for you; then, don't be too picky about other people's OS's...

Personally, I prefer FreeBSD over Windows or Linux --- for whatever reasons.............

Use what you like. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on this subject, so you're not going to get a straight answer.
