Does anybody know wher ei can find an article on how to delete files from a folder on the webserver?

Well, um...provided it's your webserver....use unlink()
well i need to delete like an image.....
Ok...so why wouldn't this work?
unlink("/home/yourfile/public_html/images/image.gif");
