hi,
we have just upgraded from php 4.0.x to 4.2.0 and i have a problem with file uploads. the server has also been moved, earlier it was hosted internally.
i have made the changes to the code to reflect $FILES[].
when i try to upload an image in the form it works fine. however when i try to upload a zip file or real media file, the page goes blank after i submit the form.
the execution time is set to 600.
in netscape i get an error saying the document has no data.
In IE it goes to the action page and then it says page not found. when i refresh the page $FILES[] is blank.
this happens even if the form action page contains only <?php echo "hello"; ?>
the zip / real media file is < 600 KB. is it timing out thru HTTP ??
im not sure what the issue is . appreciate any help
