If you would like to develop your own then do so and when you have specific questions post them. I do recommend checking out http://pear.php.net as they already have some things you may wish to use like a bbcode engine.

Just text posts within tables but i want to have multiple topics. I am the webmaster of the site and the owner of the games wants a custom (made from scratch) forum system

i made my forum in 7 days, ( not working straight though ) and my forum has pined posts, lock, delete, avatars, siggnatures, stats on each player private forums and forum titles. And i just started learning php.

no, but I will help you start one. First of all you will need 3 tables 1 forum thread which holds each forum info, a topic page which has the starting info of each thread and lock, delete and stuff etc. And a reply table for replies. ANd you will want to start with making the lay out of the main forum. U will want to use a while loop
