Hiya.

I want to set up a mod rewrite which whenever a file is entered it displays index.html. For example

http://www.somedomain.com/blah.html > will get > index.html
http://www.somedomain.com/bobby-da-builder.html > will get > index.html
http://www.somedomain.com/idiot.html > will get > index.html

I want it so that it get's index.html and display it without the user knowing, I dont want to redirect it there.

The easiest would probably be the Redirect Directive. Take a look here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/mod_alias.html#redirect
