open a new php page using php automatically

man how hard can it be to simple open a php page from another page automatically? not really hard i suspect if it would say anywhere in the manual would be good but it doesnt.

anyone? whats the code?

Open another page? Like in a new window? The same window? PopUp window? How do you plan to access it? Through a form? A link? A button?

i have a page which sends a form to a php page. that page opens and does things then I want that page to open automatically the next page after it is done validation. all without user interaction

Provided you have no output on the page, you can use a header redirect

since its PHP, you could do this many ways....
1) include the propper page "good data - approved", "bad data - try again" and go on from there...

2) meta tags...

3) header() as long as no output is made to the browser before hand...
