query according to row

hi,
my problem is :
I have database and users can add/edit these datas.
when users click edit button the new window opens and responds form fields. users can enter their own data via this form. when they filled form completely they are responded another page (confirm page), that has table includes
field name which are going to be changed
current data value
*new data value (user entered recenty..)
now, how can I display the current data according to user s choice (for instance if user wish to edit 3rd row data) confirm page shows him 3rd row data as a current data..
how can I provide this??

try setting a hidden form field with the rows primary key value.... then use that to SELECT the row on the "confirm" page
