Read text in Form

Hi,

I am trying to solve a problem but I can't figure out how.

I have a form:
<form name="linefields" method="post" action="">
<textarea name="textlines" cols="50" rows="20"></textarea>
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Submit">
</form>

What function should I use in the actionscript that can read the texfield and gives me back the individual lines. A new-line is the next line after a carriage-return so wrapping is of no influence.

If you're talking about ActionScript as in the scripting language associated with Macromedia, then you probably should check elsewhere.

If you're talking about PHP, then one simple way is to use [man]explode/man with the newline sequence as the separator.
