PHP and Flash - banner management

I've created for the portal I'm working for a PHP banner management.
In order to keep track of all the clicks I need to take the user to a specific PHP page that write the click and some other things into the DB and then redirects the user to the banner related page.
The problem comes with SWF movie that has embedded links.

How can I take the user to my page?
Does anybody have had experience on that?
Some suggestion?

the only workaround i can think is to place a layer over the swf, sized as the swf, that catch the click insead of the flash movie... then use the click as u already do... i really dont like this solution... but nothing else in my mind....

if u need to know where the swf is linked to (inside).... mmm... i donno....
