Hello, i work for a small sized company which uses a Windows Server with IIS. The network has about 10 Windows PC's on it, and as we have a small graphics section, we have 2 Macintosh computers on the network.
I have made an intranet section, and set up IIS so that when you type http://localhost/intranet, it goes to the \localhost\shared\intranet and shows all the php enabled pages correctly. all intranet pages use php, so to view the pages correctly you have to view the intranet through the http://localhost, and not just \localhost.
this works all well & good on PC's.
the problem is with the Macs, it doesn't look to the windows server when you type http://localhost/intranet, it looks for locahost.com on the internet.
is there a way i can make macs look to the windows server in IIS?
thanks for any help, also i'm not sure if i've explained my problem totally, so ask if you need any more information
thankyou

edit: i've just realised that the newbies forum was probably a bad place to put this... apologies for the effort it'll take to move this.
