i've just installed linux on a small machine and i've hooked it up with my windows PC, i'm having a bit of problem figuring out the details i need to point my ftp program at my linux box. Can anyone help?

We need some detail. Is this on a network? Are you running FTP on the Linux box? What flavor Linux(everyone has their specialties)....
