PHP Sessions error?

Right now im using PHP Sessions to login, and logout users from my website. It seems when I am doing..

unset($_SESSION['name']);

To log them out, for 2 users, of about 5,000, it sets their name as 'deleted'. I have searched all of my code for 'deleted', and it isnt in my code anywhere. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed a problem like this.. The weird thing is it only happens to two people, im thinking becuase they have an old version of internet explorer, or something.

if you are simply logging them out on a log out page... use

session_destroy();
Header ("Location: http://redirect.them.here/");
?>
