hey ho...

once again i browsed through some php dev sites and again the idea of encoding and protecting source code caught my attention.

first of all i wanted to ask if anybody here would like to share their experience with any of these software packages (such as SourceGuardian, Zend Encoder, SourceCop,...).

my second question is, if there are any open source/freeware projects out there that work on that issue (sourceforge?) - i havent come across one yet - so i thought id try it here. mainly i am interested in something similar like SourceGuardian, since it does not require any extra modules or server changes, just one single extra file and also allows to restrict code life-time and ip-range.
