secure file management solutions

Hi everyone,

I have a client that is using my content management system and now he need to be able to securely share files with his clients.

This client of mine is an advertising agency and they want to be able to exchange footages and other files over the internet - ofcourse with autorization.

I though about making my own file management system and integrate it into my cms but I think it will be just as good to have it as an external application since very few of my clients need this.

I have looked at applications like Filetrack and it does what I want but I think the user interface is bad in that case.

So I was wondering if you know of any other similar solution?

Internet users must NOT be able to download the files directly.

Any help appreciated.

phplib can give you login/authorization/protected content. The initial learning curve is steep, but if you dive in you should have no problem with it.

You'll gain a data abstraction layer, authorization levels, and a templating system-- all in all a very handy tool.

Best of all, it's just a building block; you can create your file management however you wish 🙂

Thank you for your suggestion - sound logical to be able to make just whatever i like.

I already have some phplib knowledge. Actually used phplib for my last cms 🙂

However - I was thinking about taking a shortcut on this client, just implement a ready made solution. I just can't fint anyone that suits my needs.

Something similar to filetrack, just with a better interface.
