Are cookies stored on the users computer or within the servers temp directory?

Cookies are stored on the users machine. If you're using sessions, they'll reference the session data file in the temp directory.

for new user always remember that cookie always store at user machine not at server
there is a folder in you r machine named Cookies where cookies r
stored
if u disable cookies folder the cookies will not work:rolleyes:
even hotmail use cookies for clients
