conection problem on mssql

Hello,
I'm running windows 2000 server, IIS and PHP4.
When I try to connect to mssql, I've got this message:
Warning: mssql_connect(): Unable to connect to server: \BBMF82\TEST_INTRA in C:\intranet\test1\pages\page2.php on line 3

Is someone can help me?

You have to have a user that has SELECT, etc. permissions on the table that you are using.
Create or use an existing user, then grant permissions on the tables.

ah, also on the server with php installed, you have to have the SQL Server Client tools, which includes the Client Utility, and you open the Client Utility and setup an Alias.

Click TCPIP, Write in the name of the server that you want to put in your connect statement, then below that click off the port so that it is only 1433, then type in the IP address. Save it and you can now connect.

In mssql server you have to metod for authentication

-windows only
-SQL Server and windows

To resolve the problem you must select SQL Server and windows
