I got a number 0 between 5

I need to round it to

.5
1
1.5
2
2.5
3
3.5
4
4.5
5

then convert that to

0_5
1
1_5
2
2_5
3
3_5
4
4_5
5

this is for a rate script like rates out of 5!

I need this in a function like

$new_num = rate_number($num);

and say $num was equal to 4.3

then it would return 4_5
