[Resolved] Getting visitor's nationality

I'm currently programming a community-system. For my statistics-module i'd like to create a statistic saying how many people from which country have visited the site.

Now, I'm searching for a method of determining which country the current visitor of the page is from.

It doesn't work with $HTTP_USER_AGENT since it only contains information about the browser.

You know I can't remember what it's called but there is a program out for sale that gives you unimaginable information about your visitors using there ip address. It seems very easy to use as well. If I remember what it's called I will post again.

Actually I have already thought of getting the information out of the users IP-address. The problem was getting the IP-to-Country database, which is pretty much what is sold at the page you mentioned.

There must be a source to get this database for free, since it should be free information. I have'nt found one yet though.
