Image Gallery HTML/PHP

For the life of me, I just can't seem to think of a way to post up my image gallery in rows of three. I'm not sure what it is, whether it's the long night of work, or the lack of sleep, but I just can't seem to think of a way to easily do it...

I want to use a single variable called from a database, the image name, then, post the image with the name under it. Then, move to the next, but the thing is, I want them in rows of three, then move to the next row, and so on. But I JUST CAN'T THINK OF A WAY TO DO IT! ARGH!!!!

well... you could also do multiple tables. run a loop like

for($i=0; i<=2;$++){ ... table syntax...} within another loop

$i = 0;
while($line = mysql_fetch_object($result)) {
    if($i==0) {
        for($i=0; i<=2; $i++) { 
            <table><tr><td>$line->image<td>$line->image<td>$line->image</td></tr></table>
        }
    }
    $i = 0;
}

thats pretty messy untested code but i'm sure you can figure somthing like that out. good luck.
