What's the story behind your username? Some of them, of course are very obvious (referring to the people who used their first names as usernames, not that it's a bad thing at all, of course).

Discuss, enjoy!

        Okay, fine, the story:

I was so bored one day I decided to flip through the dictionary. I was flipping through the 'V' section and I saw the word 'verve', meaning vivacity. That afternoon, I was playing a silly game on the internet and I got a high score. It said: "You got a high score. Type your name:" I had been lectured about internet security; I knew I shouldn't give out my real name, and everybody else typed stuff like: "GO SUCK YOUR OWN GAY FAT DICKS!" and I thought that was stupid, so I decided to type the word I had seen in the dictionary: verve.
The next day I was talking to one of my friends and he said that I should always use the same nickname on the internet, and I told him that I used verve. He told me it sounded stupid. "Who needs 2 v's?" he said.
"But Verve means something," I protested.
"Who gives a damn," he said.
        "How about Berve?"
        "God, that's even worse."
        "Werve?"
        "No, use Merve."
And from then on I used Merve.

          "Bad" is the name
of a labor's pilot, a very good player of computer's game...
And is the only word i can think when i log in phpbuilder.

But, because we are talking about, why can't a user change the username? I'm always asked this...

My initials plus 'ster'(I am so creative...)

In second edition AD&D one of the most munchkin characters you can create is an elvin theif. So when I created just such a character and he had no drawbacks I decided to put on into his name. Not wanting to know him drawback I named him drawmack. It's been a nickname of mine eversince.

Mine is about 6 years old now. I had just turned 18, got my own apartment, decided to buy a Playstation. First game I had to get: Final Fantasy 7. My buddy had bought this a couple weeks ago, I had fooled around on it, and thought it was cool. So I get home, pop it in, and start playing. 10 oclock, Saturday night, my girlfriend was pissssed. Anyway, it comes to the part where you're supposed to name your character. I decide I want to name my charcters totally sensless names, but make them sound sorta like Japanese Kabuki warriors or something. So my main character ends up being named ShrykuLan. Took me a while just to decide how I wanted to pronouce it. Over time, variations came from the name. Most common, now being LordShryku. But I can still be found some places as ShrykuLan 🙂

                  ... Self explanatory. >_>
My other name Mold Rat, because rats rule... And mold is fuxxy.
