I have just installed PHP on my Windows 2003 server. All seems ok - except for when I try to run a php command - (it's actually install.php from UBB Threads bulletin board) .... I got prompted for a user name and password for the particular directory I am trying to run the .php install from but it rejects my username/password.
The password and user name was set up when I created an ftp directory for this website - the ftp password works fine as does my does my Administrator username and password - but when I try to use either of these passwords and it does not work.
Any ideas please - as I am completely stuck!
