[Resolved] [Resolved] Poll Script Throws Errors

Hi everybody!

     I'm relatively new to php coding (Ok, so I've never used php before). I'm trying to install a poll script called php_poll (how redundant!) on my site, [url]www.mikestermedia.com.[/url] I have no idea where in the script the problem is, but, no matter what I try I keep getting the same errors. These are the error I get:

Could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it?

Looks like a file permission error. Make sure the files are properly chmod'ed on the server.

Well, I thought I had fixed that, but the author was pretty unclear about exactly how the files are to be chmoded. What would you say (what should they be chmoded to)?

chmod 666 usually does the trick

All he said in his readme was:

"Change permissions to 'poll_data.txt' for be writing by nobody (chmod a+rw)"

I've already tried to contact him by e-mail, but I've had no luck.

Do a
chmod 666 poll_data.txt
and try again.

Cool, It works! Wow, so it was the Chmoding all along!
