how to incorporate SSL in PHP 4.2

hi.
i am very much new in linux environment.
i have installed php 4.2 +apache 2+postgresql 7.3 on Red Hat 9.
all i have installed from RPMs.
Now i want to incorporate SSL in PHP/Apache.
can any body tell how to do it..
it will be very great help to me..
