Emulating a browser and browsing

Is something like this possible in PHP? I need to make a script that visits a site, logs in, then goes to a certain page and records certain areas in a table... How would I do this?

Thanks... I found a great one - its just REALLY confusing ...

Anyways: What I want to do is make a graph for each stock on neopets.com (I have no life, mind you) - just for fun... I like messing around with stock markets - but since I'm broke, I have to do so in games... And since neopets doesn't offer graphs, I have to write my own.

If anyone knows an easier way to do this - feel free to tell me, otherwise I'll use the script I found on hotscripts (thanks to Natty)
