Apache multiple instances

Hello. I am running Apache2 on XP Home.

Lately apache is running more than one instance of itself and then it freezes.

Whenever the server freezes, I look in the Windows Task Manager and I see 2 versions of Apache.exe running. When I close the one that takes up the most memory the server works fine.

I upgraded my version of Apache2 a few weeks ago. Could this be the problem?

Hmmm... not sure, I always have 2 instances of Apache.exe running in my Task Manager and it works just fine on my win2k box.

Me too, its looks not like a problem for windows.
