Okay, 😕 here's the question...
What we need is a script that will display our next concert.
That in itself is not so hard of course. I can work with PHP rather well and understand it to a certain extend.
What is the intension of what we're looking for?
We type all our concerts in either a .txt file or Db based file. The script will read that file and displays the next concert in line according to date. Let's say the next gig is on December 14th. The script will show on the website:
Next gig: December 14 - Venue whatever in Amsterdam
If it's December 15th the script will automatically show the next gig according to date, for example on Januari 20th. On Januari 21st it will then show the following concert and so on...
Is there a php script, simple and straigthforward, that does this? Or a simple piece of code? No need for visual calendars and such (maybe only for us to fill in the dates?) but just a simple Event announcement???
