Using the date to create directories

Hello,

Could someone please help me out.
I need a script that creates a directory that uses the date as a naming convention, but two days ahead.

ex. Date Oct 29, 2003
the script would create /usr/home/me/10312003

Date Oct 31, 2003
the script would create /usr/home/me/11022003

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Modify as needed

$dir="/usr/home/me/".date("mdY", strtotime("+2 days"));
mkdir($dir, 0777);
