Posting and calling variables

I have a blog. Every week (or used to be every week), I post a video of the week, a flash of the week, and a song of the week. These are linked on the side of my page in a PHP file. (you can see it at www.mcconaha.com)

My question: Instead of editing the code for my template every week, I'd like to be able to create a form that just enables me to paste the link in a textbox and have it update the template. How do I go about doing this?

you have the choice between using a database (mySql for example) or a flat file (text file) to store the file names/locations. you should be able to find tutorials about this online.

www.php.net/fopen will maybe be a good starting point for the second method.
