Help w/ php and javascript menu

Hi,

I searched google for some good ol' fashion help forums, this site poped up and seems like a right good place. So I'm a newbie to php and javascript. I'm using a tutorial from spoono.com and I'm having problems up the wazoo with it.

That's the link to the tutorial in question. Now my problem is this, my menus are more than three options (they vary actually), how do I get them to work correctly?

I'm completely stumped on what I'm doing wrong and I'd be very greatful to anyone who could shed some light onto my situation. Many thanks in advance.

FIXED: I'm an idiot and forgot to remove the span tag from my copy and paste job. Oy. I hate simple mistakes.

Well it works in:

Mozilla 1.4 and above
Netscape 4.79 (the menus are permanently extended however)
IE 6
Opera 7.21 (they load extended, but they can be minimized)

I'm going to be booting into Linux to see how it looks from some browsers in there, as well as check it w/ Safari and IE for OSX.

I'll let you know how my tests go. Take it easy.

Well in OS X (Panther) a friend of mine had the following results:
Safari it worked pefectly
IE same results
Opera they're expanded permanently but work
Netscape works
Mozilla works
Omni Web works

So I'm going to have to say that all in all, that is definitely one hell of a good cross-browser/platform script.
