submit a form ends IE

hey there,

i have written a guestbook, but whenever a post is made it causes internet explorer to crash and prompts me to end the program. this happens when ever the form is submited, (post or preview). there is a bit of javascript in the file, and php too, but i hav no idea what is causing it to happen... any ideas?

It may be the java script that causes the browser to crash or you need to upgrade or reinstall IE.

Test the script on another computer, if it works there, uprgrade IE.

its IE version 5.5. the wierd thing is the script was working fine, then i changed the name of some of the variables in the php code and suddenly it stop working!!

well then maybe the var's you changed were needed somewhere else that you don't know of

It's probability not PHP that is causes the browser to crash. If there was an error with the PHP script, it could crash the server.
