need help on idea

OK, I finnaly got somewhere on my website, but the thing is now im stuck at something.

MY website [www.gundamv3.com] right now has 3 large PHP ran database programs (Anime, Mecha Anime, and JRock, or my Indexes) Due to it kinda hard to explain the problem with words, ill make a web:

Mecha Anime --> Gundam Wing Mecha Profiles --> Wing Gundam Profile

What i want to do is make 1 page for each of the Indexe's Sections like Mecha Profiles, Character Profile, ETC. ; so when they click on one of those link it will bring them to a page like characterprofiles.php that all the series share, but when you click on the button it tell characterprofile.php the series that you click on like so:

1. Go to Mecha Anime page (mechaindex.php)
2. Find the Gundam Wing Section and click on the Character Profile page (heading to characterprofiles.php, but when i click on it, the data was sent saying that the link is the Gundam Wing link, so it accesses the Gundam Wing Characters Table).

If anyone understands what im asking please help me, due to I REALLY need this part to work to have the site run right

your problem is inocoherent... and your example makes no sense...

but let me take a stab at it...

sounds like you are making a list of profiles based on database information and want this list to be hyperlinks to the information page that displays the full info on that item in the list....

do this by having your loop that displays the LINKS, use the primary KEY as a variable in that link... like www.mysite.com/profiles?id=$id

then use $id to SELECT * from table WHERE id=$id

well, i got a good example now.
You know how a forum uses the same page for every topic, just when you click on a topic's link it sends a message to the page to grab that certian topics Database data? Pretty Much like that..
